This Week!

Math: Finishing Topic 2 testing Monday. We will start Topic 3 on Addition Facts to 20. Homework/Extra Practice sheet will be sent home daily. This is not graded and is optional. I highly recommend doing this with your child at home if you feel they need some extra math help.


Reading: Main idea and supporting details. Students will be bringing a book home in a bag to read and then return to school the next day. We will continue to go to the library on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays.


Writing: We are learning about Journaling and practicing handwriting.


Phonics: Final s-family blends, words like desk, fast, ask, wasp, blast, crisp.


Sight Words: be, have, at, this, from


Science: What is science? What is a Scientist?
